2 quarts cranberry juice 2 cups water 1 cup sugar 6-8 whole cloves 1 cup orange juice 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 quart hot water
Make a syrup by cooking: 2 cups water, 1 cup sugar, 6-8 whole cloves
Then add: 1 cup orange juice and 2 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
Add all this to cranberry juice. Before serving, add one more quart hot water.
Note: My Mother always made this at Thanksgiving for Christmas. It’s pretty to serve.
