Ingredients: 2 pounds - ground beef 1/4 cup - chopped onions 1 (16 ounce) jar - prepared pizza sauce 2 cups - mozzarella cheese 1 package - sliced pepperoni 1 (8 ounce) can - crescent rolls 1 tablespoon - margarine, melted 1/4 cup - parmesan cheese 1-2 teaspoons - dried oregano
Preparation: Brown ground beef and onion, then drain. Add pizza sauce and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Spread meat mixture in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Top meat with pepperoni and mozzarella cheese.
Unroll crescent roll dough. Place on waxed paper and pat into a rectangle to fit the pan. Place dough on top of meat and cheese.
Brush top with melted butter. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and oregano.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Note: Our kids really like this recipe and you can add any pizza toppings you want - green peppers, olives, etc. I very seldom use a whole 2 pounds of ground beef. 1to11/2 pounds works just as well.
